The big All-Star game is coming to Miami for the first time ever on Tuesday, July 11th. Beyond the all-American fun at the 88th Annual All-Star game, MLB is also celebrating with numerous events in Downtown Miami. Don’t miss out on these extraordinary festivities!
Music festival meets marathon at the All Star 5K Electric Run! Sprint, jog or dance through five “worlds” that’ll leave your mind blown. The Bayfront Park start-line window will open at 8 p.m. with waves going every few minutes until about 9 p.m. Once you get to the finish line, the party has only just begun. A Finish Festival after party will feature giveaways, dancing, and more music. At 9:45 p.m., Grammy Award-winning artist Lil Jon will take the stage and wrap up the night with an unforgettable performance. Register for the Electric Run here.
Your favorite dance work-out video series is coming live to Bayfront Park! Zumba® creator, Beto Perez, will be leading a 90-minute session starting at 9:30 a.m. What’s better than live Zumba? Dancing to a live performance by Grammy Award-winning artist, Don Omar! “El Rey” of reggeaton will be providing tunes during a portion of All Star Zumba, making it the most fun you’ll ever have while burning calories. An acre of Bayfront Park has transformed into a baseball lover’s heaven. The interactive park welcomes children and teens for five days of free baseball and softball fun, including a turf diamond featuring daily scheduled programming and open-play as well as batting tunnels, pitching inflatables, MLB Sponsor activation zones, and a new ‘Stickball Alley. Kids who participate in PLAY BALL Park activities will receive a plastic or foam bat & ball set and a PLAY BALL-branded t-shirt. The park will be accessible to children and parents from Thursday, July 6th through Tuesday, July 11th.
