Miami Children’s Museum

Visitors of all ages are welcome to play, learn, imagine and create together at The Miami Children’s Museum. Offering an array of exhibits, programs, and interactive learning materials related to arts, culture, community, and communication, the Miami Children’s Museum has something for everyone. Lee & Tina Hills Playground

Grab the kids and head on over to the south end of the Bayfront Park! There you’ll find the latest playground design that includes rubber safety surfacing and a unique play sculpture. The “play sculpture” depicts a rising wave showcasing marine animals native to the waters of Miami, including a dolphin, a turtle, and a manatee. Look! Talk! Create! Free Family Days at MOAD MDC

Every last Sunday of the Month at MOAD, the whole family can participate in artist-led workshops and other activities that are sure to be fun for everyone! The Museum of Art and Design at Miami Dade College offers free admission to families with children as well as hands-on educational activities and interactive gallery tours. Learn more about it here.

Arsht Center Market Mondays

Grab the family and head over to the Adrienne Arsht Center for Market Monday’s! Every Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the Market provides Florida-grown produce from Urban Oasis Project, Cerasee Farms, Laura’s Produce, and Taste of Redland. Prepared foods from local Miami favorites will also be available. As part of Urban Oasis Project’s mission to provide healthy, locally sourced food for everyone, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) purchases are doubled up to $40 for fresh fruits and vegetables.
