Update: Road Closure Information

As Miami Worldcenter construction continues, additional lane closures on NE 1st Avenue is scheduled to start May 22nd to May 27, 2017 from 8pm to 5am.  Please see the below map for re-routing information:

A two-day road closure of NE 8th Street is scheduled for May 27th and 28th, 2017 from 6am to 6pm each day.  The streets will be re-opened each evening.  Road closure and re-routing information can be found in the below map:

Construction Update Week of May 15, 2017

For your information, the following is a list of “key” activities that will be occurring around the site over the next couple of weeks.
1. Paramount:

a. Concrete pours on continue on level 7.
b. Concrete Pour Level 8 to Start
c. MEP rough in 3rd floor.
d. Masonry block walls to start.
e. 2 day Full Street Closure on May 27th and 28th – to jump up the crane – NE 8th Street Between NE 1st Ave. and NE 2nd Ave.
f. Digging parking garage at north side and installing grade beams.
g. Buck Hoist to be installed.

2. 7th Street Apartment Project:

a. Concrete pour on level 12 and 13.
b. Concrete pour on Level 9 core.
c. Drywall Framing on Level 2 and 3.
d. Jumping up the Tower Crane.
e. Jumping up the Buck Hoist from Level 5 to Level 10.
f. Laying block in Garage and on Level 6 of tower.
g. Windows delivery.

3. Retail at Miami Worldcenter:

a. Placing concrete for foundations.
b. Begin to go vertical with columns and deck forming.
c. Ongoing rebar deliveries.

NOTE: All Concrete pours anticipated to start at 1am.

Construction Update Week of April 24th, 2017

For your information, the following is a list of “key” activities that will be occurring around the site over the next couple of weeks.

 

1. Paramount:

a. Concrete pours on Slab, columns and walls continuing on level 7 – all concrete pours start at 1 am.
b. Concrete Pour – Vertical 7th to 8th floor.
c. Fire mains install on Level 1.
d. Buck Hoist Installation.
e. Plumbing and Electrical installation.
f. Garage excavation on footers and backfill SOG for Tower.

2. 7th Street Apartment Project:

a. Pouring garage foundation continue; all concrete pours start at 1 am.
b. Drywall framing starting on Level 2.
c. Floor Masonry on Level 5th and 6th.
d. MEP Installation is ongoing.
e. Level 7 – Elevator Lobby Concrete Pour; all concrete Pours start at 1 am.
f. Level 12 to 13 shear wall pour.
g. Concrete Pours on Level 11 and 12; all concrete pours start at 1am.
h. Pouring garage foundations continues; concrete pours start at 1 am.
i. Windows delivery.

3. Retail at Miami Worldcenter:

a. Excavation on all footings and Site preparation for civil works continues.
b. Rebar installation and form work for foundations.
c. First lift of columns.
d. Concrete Pour – Placing 900 yards at south enlarged footing; all concrete pours start at 1 am.
e. Concrete Pour – on Columns 20 yards daily; all concrete pours start at 1 am.

Construction Update Week of April 17th, 2017

For your information, the following is a list of “key” activities that will be occurring around the site over the next couple of weeks.

1. Paramount:

a. Concrete pours on Slab, columns and walls continuing on level 7 – all concrete pours start at 1 am.
b. Masonry layout on 2nd thru 6th floor.
c. MEP rough in on the 3rd floor.
d. Sewer lines & man holes installation on the west side.

2. 7th Street Apartment Project:

a. Buck Hoist Installation: Drop Test.
b. 3rd Floor Masonry.
c. MEP installation is ongoing.
d. Level 6 – Elevator Concrete Pour; all concrete pours start at 1 am.
e. Level 11 to 12 shear wall pour.
f. Level 10 – East Tower concrete pour.
g. Pouring garage foundations continues.

3. Retail at Miami Worldcenter:

a. Concrete Pour – Grid Line D; all concrete pours start at 1 am.
b. Site Demolition continues.
c. Excavation on all footings and Site preparation for civil works continues.
d. Mobilizing contractors for equipment/material delivery.
e. Foundation steel installation continues.
